Devils Lake, North Dakota. It was a
windy day and the water was choppy. However, the fishing was great. The
water level in Devils Lake is very high and the fish have been very
cooperative. We are catching very nice walleyes with occasional northern
pike, crappie, white bass, and perch.
Note: we are not fishing guides. However, there
are many smaller lakes within minutes of the cabin.
These lakes do not attract a lot of attention so are not heavily fished.
They are teeming with walleyes and perch. They make for a very easy
self-guided fishing trip. We have a fish cleaning station at the cabin
for your convenience.
The ice fishing in the winter can be fabulous -
many walleyes and perch are taken through the ice.
